Creamy Paneer and Onion Pasta
100g paneer
to taste salt
1, thinly sliced onion
100g pasta
1/4 cup cream
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp, grated parmesan cheese
1 cup, chopped spinach
1/4 tsp, grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp, dried basil
Cut the paneer into cubes. Slice the onion thinly. Chop the spinach. Grate the nutmeg. Grate the Parmesan cheese.
Boil water in a pot, add salt, and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and keep aside.
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
Add cream to the caramelized onions. Stir in grated nutmeg, basil, and salt. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta, paneer cubes, and chopped spinach to the creamy sauce. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top. Serve the Creamy Paneer and Onion Pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or diced green chilies to the dish. You can also experiment with different types of cheese like mozzarella or cheddar for a unique flavor twist.
