Creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta
1 piece chicken breasts
1 cup pasta
1/4 cup yogurt
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp butter
to taste salt
to taste pepper
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, yogurt, and Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Gently simmer for a few minutes until the chicken is coated with the sauce.
Serve the creamy chicken Alfredo over the cooked pasta. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper.
For a final touch, drizzle a bit of olive oil over the dish and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy the creamy goodness!
For a twist, you can add some sautéed mushrooms or spinach to the Alfredo sauce for extra flavor and nutrients.
